Help Wanted
KOC is growing, and we’re expanding our team.
We’re looking for community members who want to take a more active role in producing KOC.
We’re seeking people who are passionate about their role and committed to our mission: creating safe spaces for people of color to experience sexual fulfillment.
If you’re not looking to contribute but know someone who should, please share this page.
Executive Director (National)
Behind the scenes · Strategic · Low visibility
This role exists to protect the heart of Kinksters of Color as we grow.
The Executive Director safeguards KoC’s vision, values, and non-negotiables while supporting safe, aligned expansion across cities. This is not a day-to-day operations role — it’s about long-term integrity, stewardship, and knowing when to step in and when to step back.
Good fit if you:
Think long-term and system-wide
Lead calmly during conflict or crisis
Are comfortable holding authority without spotlight
Put community safety over popularity
If done well, most people will never see this role — and that’s exactly the point.
Operations Lead (Atlanta)
Core role · Internal · High responsibility
This role keeps the party from turning into chaos.
The Operations Lead ensures every KoC event runs smoothly, legally, and on time — from venue booking to inventory to budgets. You’re the person who makes sure nothing is missing, nothing is rushed, and nothing falls apart last minute.
You’ll handle:
Booking venues and managing logistics
Inventory (snacks, drinks, supplies, wristbands, signage)
Event timelines, backups, and budgets
Building and leading an ops support team
Good fit if you:
Are organized, reliable, and calm under pressure
Love structure, checklists, and clean execution
Can make hard calls (scale down or cancel when needed)
Don’t need the spotlight to feel important
This role does not override consent rules or non-negotiables — safety always comes first.

Consent & Community Lead (Atlanta)
Core role · Visible · Authority-based
This role protects the people and the trust.
The Consent & Community Lead is the highest authority on the floor when it comes to safety, boundaries, and behavior. You ensure consent is respected, incidents are handled calmly, and the culture of KoC stays intact — even when things get uncomfortable.
You’ll handle:
Vetting and approving attendees
Enforcing consent rules and party agreements
Managing incidents, documentation, and follow-up
Directing security and coordinating aftercare
Making removal, suspension, and ban recommendations
Good fit if you:
Are calm, fair, and unshakable under pressure
Can enforce boundaries without ego or hesitation
Prioritize safety over popularity every time
Are trusted to make hard calls in real time
This role has final authority during events, including denying entry or removing guests. Founder review happens after — not in the moment.
Experience Host (Atlanta)
Core role · Public-facing · High visibility
This role sets the tone for the entire night.
The Experience Host is the welcoming presence guests see, hear, and feel. You guide the flow, deliver the opening script, and keep the energy aligned with KoC standards — without becoming the main character.
You’ll handle:
Delivering the opening welcome and expectations
Guiding transitions throughout the event
Regulating energy and addressing social friction early
Serving as a visible, grounding presence for guests
Identifying volunteers ready to grow into paid roles
Good fit if you:
Are warm, confident, and clear on the mic
Can follow structure without improvising rules
Know how to lead a room without centering yourself
Read energy well and redirect it smoothly
This role shapes the vibe — not enforcement. Consent and safety calls live elsewhere.
